POLICY REGARDING

LONG DISTANCE LEARNING

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT 

Effective April 1, 2001 the Board will approve alternative methods of continuing education credit limited to no more than 6 hours per renewal cycle. 

Alternative methods of continuing education credit includes self-study programs and distance learning programs 

The Board will ONLY accept alternative methods for continuing education credit that have been approved through the National Continuing Education Review Service (NCERS) through the National Association of Boards of Examiners for Long Term Care Administrators (NAB).  For more information regarding NCERS approval please visit the NAB website at: www.nabweb.org or call NAB at (202) 712-9040.
